Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend

Earthy on nose and palate but Medium minus intensity and light to medium weight palate. A reasonable quaffer but light weight and simple.

Pair with tomato flat bread. Ruby glass. Boysenberry blackberry nose with an astringent clean medium finish.

I thought it was CDP. I thought way wrong. Dense, tannic, delicious.

Found this Sangiovese particularly flat and finishing quite acid.

From a hot year in 2012 the tannins and acid at this young stage are very aggressive. This wine demands food and is difficult to drink without it. Will leave having the next for a few years.

Always solid

Kinda spicy. Good stuff.

Nice chianti, not very funky.
