Chianti Classico Sangiovese Blend

A good sangio!!
Perhaps i would have been better 2 or 3 years ago, but it still had it all
Fruit, earthy and leather

Freshness is there, it just needed some more body from the start, but it's smooth
Still very easy drinking and decently long

Really classic example

Great wet, bloody nose but with a smokey, mineral, graphite core along with tight rose hip and black cherry that developed in the glass to show more wet tobacco leaf notes. Palate is well strung with taught tannin backing up taught, structured black currant and cherry fruit powerful but light bodied thanks to the acid. Snappy with some lovely red berry fruits on the finish.

More modern in style. But tasty.

A touch oaky. A ripe candied nose. Big fruit. Pleasant. Hard to peg as Sangiovese.

Full bodied, lighter at the beginning and then opened up. First meal in Tuscany after leaving Florence at the very casual restaurant Fuoro Piazza

Loved this Chianti! Smooth and I do notice the tobacco smell. Soft tannins...still prefer a bolder Chianti.
