Night 1: fruit and iron. On night two, the fruit fades a bit and nuance emerges. Generous weight, but classic Sangiovese cherry, brown sugar, and even some blood orange as the palate leans out. Would be interesting to taste in two and five years

赤い系のチャーミングな果実のトーンだったので、ブルゴーニュグラスで。
少し透明感のある仕上がりだけど、少し窮屈な印象。
もう少し伸びやか寄りだと良かったかな。
でも、キレイだけどキレイ過ぎるのは物足らないっていう人にはとてもいいワインだと思う。

2013. First bottle of our mini montalcino tasting. Iron and cherry on the nose, clove and high acid on the palate. Tannins weren't super chewy. Delicious with salami, would cut through rich pasta.
