It started last year when I accidentally purchased a Mosse chenin blanc. Mosse makes many good wines but their chenin blancs are in a different universe. Honeyed pear and tropical fruit. Is there some earth? This is a big, bold, wine but smooth and complex, too. Off-dry, Granny Smith apples, and a loooong finish. Did the wine see a little skin contact because I sense some tannins? There is too much going on here to capture in one review. Off to the next Mosse chenin blanc!

Very yummy, excellent value for likers of orange wines aka white wines macerated on their skin.
Yet another take on the Chenin grape that keeps pleasing me.
