Clot, sweet with dark red fruits that have a bite on the finish. Still feels teeth staining after all this time.

4.0 2011 vintage dark red color with a nice complex nose and a tannic, but somewhat complex full body and a fairly long aftertaste. After a week open with Vacu van at room temperature it softens some but this wine needs another 10 years in a cool cellar at least.

Dark color, concentrated. Heavy alcohol dominates, fairly acidic. Works reasonably well with lamb chops, too strong on its own.

Color of dark inky red, with slightly mix of purple. Nose refined with saturated dried strawberries, oak, ester and crayon, a bit cocoa, a bit mineral, and the fragrance simply keep coming. I won’t imagine she is Syrah, I will guess high end Amarone instead. Taste follows similar notes with orders being per mutated. Oaks come first, dries fruit note, and indeed some raisins and berry note come second. Then some bold tannins, tobacco leaves and mineral. Very attractive. Aftertaste is dominated by mineral, good acidity, and some residual heat from peppery note. A wow.

After having this, I went to check what I paid. $17!!! Crazy! I thought this was at least $30+. Thank you Garagiste!

Surprisingly hot for 11 years old. Still youthful and full tilt. Reminded me of mollydooker but with an American twist. Impressive.

If you bought this at release you overpaid. But 10 years in at closeout for ~$20 this is a steal. Layered. Yes a tad tad hot but structured nicely. Find it and buy it. In the zone now. #doloresoutpost

This is 98% Syrah and the rest Viognier. So think Cote Rotie on steroids.
