Typically not a port drinker but this one was well integrated, balanced and fairly complex

Winter 2018, a solid vintage port. Some drying tannins, full bodied and warming on a cold snowy night.

Great finish to our dinner and enjoyed with our pots de creme dessert. Ripe blackberries, chocolate and coffee flavors with a very appealing level of sweetness

1997 vintage Port. Very easy drinking. Red plum, prune and dried fruits. Nutmeg, dark chocolate. Medium bodied. Primary fruit and dried fruit. The alcohol is nicely integrated. The one criticism is that this isn't as complex as I would have liked. Non-intellectual port.
