Adriano Ramos Pinto
Reserva Duas Quinta Douro Valley Touriga Nacional Blend
Oaky, chocolaty, cocoa, nutmeg, and dark raspberry. Didn't like the wine but love how it smells, which bumped up my rating a bit.

Oct 5th, 2017A gorgeous wine from magnum, this is the oldest table wine from Portugal that I have tasted. It reminded me of a well made and mature GCC Bordeaux. Dried red fruits, tertiary notes of smoke, toast and leather with a subtle spicy forest floor and cedar aromatics.

Beautifully earthy and full of ripe fruit. Mostly Touriga Nacional blended with Touriga Franca and Tinta Barroca. While Ramos Pinto is widely known as a respected Port house, they also make a few incredible table wines. Drinking very well now but shows promise for more aging.

Jan 23rd, 2015Blackberries, cassis, raspberries, porty, sandalwood, smoke, with discreet vanilla on the nose. Big and chewy with sour dark fruits, fresh acidity, and very integrated tannins.

Aug 13th, 2020Had this wine on December 16 2016. Not one of my favorites from the Duro. Fruit forward and somewhat dry. The long it sits it starts to fade. As my husband and I call it, it's a good "cocktail" wine.
