Typical Portugal tapas table wine. Great for salty cured meats. Cuts the edge and benefits in the pairing mutually.

Very nice. Bold. Pepper. $30/bottle

Structured and balanced. Tart dried red fruits. Licorice and leather.

Dark violet. Smells like leather or smokey. Medium tannins. Nice spice. Balanced acidity and generally smooth. Good value.

Nice with steak

Medium/full bodied, complex blend. Very dry at first, then it hits you with sharp citric notes and terminates in a wooden tail.

Bien ce Douro. Ça m'évoque des vins du sud (étonnant...) Du fruit très rouge, des épices.
Sur la tonne de viande du don papao, ça marche

Very nice and not too plummy like these wines often are. Like a Douro with chiseled cheeks. Graphite, tannins, great acid, and a fantastic bitter note. Would like a bit more structure, but this wine practically screams for food and will take on nearly anything you throw at it...
