Beckstoffer Georges III Cabernet Sauvignon

I think the quality of the wine immediately went down when they left & opened up their own shop: Judge Palmer👍🍷🍷👍 We all know how good that juice is!!

The 2013 A-Block ($175/bottle) is my favorite. This is the Cab to end all Cabs.

A superb Cab. Lovely burgundy color. The dark cherry notes are pronounced, with a bit of leather and mocha on the nose. The taste is super balanced. For such a young Cab, the tannins are velvety. The fruit gives way to the typical leather and pepper flavors. The finish lingers for several minutes.
