Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
Willamette Valley, Oregon, USAFantastic to style Willamette valley PN without being standout. Bright aromatics of cherry and pomegranate. Doesn't approach the cola spectrum you usually find in this production area. Translucent color and tart acidity.

Deep rich aromas of wet leaves and honeybaked ham with truffle. The wet leaf note comes through most strongly on the taste with very tart cherry. Beautifully done.

Nov 12th, 2017Very little oak. Quite a bit of acid, moderate tannins. Almost a cherry medicinal quality, unripe cherry, menthol/mint. Going light on the oak let's the wine itself speak, but unfortunately I'm not the biggest fan of what it's saying.
