Smokey, meaty, gamey nose. Dark cherry, spicy. Super long finish, great acid.

2012 was a great year in the Willamette Valley and this wine shows it. IMO, Temperance Hill is Adelsheim’s flagship wine. Mineral and fruit, you can almost sense the stone in the soil, and the ripeness of the fruit.

Subtle dark cherry and red plum, maybe a hint of clove or gentle tobacco notes on the nose. Smooth and silky across the tongue. Dark berry on the back. Temperance Hill is the only Pinot Noir to get from Adelsheim; consistent and never disappoints, pretty close to a sure thing, IMO.

Outstanding example of Oregon Pinot Noir, Chehalem Valley AVA. Minerals and earth, fruit on the nose.

A rich and quite floral bouquet with a lovely deep violet color. A mild but very pleasant flavor.

Gorgeous Pinot. Still as fresh and fruit forward as the day it was bottled.

2011- faint pepper on the nose but not much else. Still very acidic and could be aged many more years. Should be good in a 3+ years.

Napa Valley has some serious catching up to do when it come to the Pinot game.
