Yuk! 2017 opened Jan 2023. Unripe berries on nose. St Joseph’s childrens aspirin cherry flavor on the front. Immense sour ball that starts on the mid palate and explodes on the finish. This is a really crappy wine. I’ll cork it up and use it in pasta sauce, but I’ll give it a few days to fade—don’t want to overwhelm the the stewed tomatoes!

2015 vintage opened on February 2022. In my humble opinion this is as good as a Cab Franc can get. As a grape the Cab Franc lacks the complexities of some of the premier grape varietals, and it’s best used as as blending grape. But after seven years of aging this vintage has come into its own. mint and allspice on the nose. Raspberry fruit on the front. A light tannic structure holds it together with earthy low notes on the mid palate and with lots of mineral high notes on the finish. Very drinkable but not very memorable.

Great wine- would love to taste in a few years. Plush, ripe, black and red cherry with nice spice undertones and a good amount of soft tannins. Well balanced structure and not as over the top as most paso reds.

Fabulous smooth red, not tannic and very rich! Enjoy it with friends and family, you'll be a star!
