Pretty darn good Cabernet with a nice acidity that can be lacking in 2012s. Great balance, cherry and cola, no trace of new oak, and very, very tasty.

Dark color. Nose of oak, vanilla, damp forest. Dark fruit progressing to chocolate. Smooth with a dry finish.

More so I had a certain reason for opening these tonight....
2013 Acumen Cabernet Sauvignon (14% alc).
2013 Acumen "Left Bank Blend" (14% alc)
68% CS, 25% ME, 6% CF, 1% PV.
2013 Acumen "Right Bank Blend" (14.2% alc)
69% CF, 29% ME, 2% CS.
