Still just thick and massive. Got lost a little in the hoopla but showed striking depth and viscosity, albeit the fruit was a little reticent. I’ve had this for 10 years and I would have loved to watch this develop over the length of a long dinner paired with an A5 Kōbe Strip. If you have it slow ox and decant.

Perfect fruit. Beautiful aroma and palate of crushed berries with hints of earth, roasted meat, and flowers. Beautiful balance and silky smooth tannins. The wine continues to evolve in the glass. This is simply a stunning wine and worth the small fortune if you like California cab sav dominated blends. Wow

It was the battle of the 12's and this one smoked Cliff Lede's Poetry. Elegant, finessed and still pack a wallop of dark fruit. Not as good as their 12 but better than most 2011's!!! Refined and elegant display of Napa's best.
