An avalanche of blueberries. Hints of violets and leather. A slight “green” quality, probably from the Cab Franc. Big tannins and finish. Pleasant surprise. Revisited in July 2022. Fruit (after three years) now more cooked plum/prunes. “Slight Green” quality still present. Interesting evolution.

May 22nd, 2019Fat berries on a buttered biscuit. Smells of animal tanned and well greased leather. Structured tannin base mixing with under ripe fruit. A low amount of bright acid. Not exactly what I’ve come to expect from an Argentinian Malbec, but that is definitely not a bad thing. Good purchase.
