It’s #thetcwineclub time! I loooove my Albariño’s so it’s only natural this 2015 Abellio from Rias Baixas in Spain was in the latest box 🥂📦
It’s a creamy yellow colour in the the glass with plush floral and citrus notes on the nose. In the mouth it has a round and juicy flavour of pear, orange and peach with a hint of grapefruit acidity. It’s highly refreshing and also very flavoursome. We enjoyed it with some lemon, lime and herb crumbed NZ Hoki 🐟👌

Elaborado con uvas de la variedad Albariño, elegante vino de color amarillo verdoso, brillante y muy atractivo. Vino de gran equilibrio, por su frescura y su tono frutal. Muy refrescante y apetecible gracias a su adecuada acidez.

Dry, with crisp refreshing acidity, not too strong, with some nice minerality.
Intense fruity notes, of pear, apple and orange peel. Medium body.
