Delectable - this was a Kerner not a Gruner Veltliner. Had this at our son’s Wedding Dinner. No notes but have not had many Kerners in my time. Like a hypothetical cross between a Riesling and a Chardonnay.

Lovely texture and nose, but a touch round and sweet on the palate. Good length and complexity

First Sudtirol Gruner I’ve had. More of a wooly, Chenin texture but also with the reductive nose I’d expect from Chablis. More eggs than flint. Boozy at 14% with ripe notes of papaya and nectarine. Wouldn’t have guessed it was already four years old. Neat wine.

High minerality, honey and ripe apples in the nose, salty and long finish with touch of white pepper and licorice. Elegant wine from one of the great producer in the region
