Darker and more brooding than the other wines of the night. Leather and pipe tobacco with unctuous cherry and plum. Full bodied with ripe grippy tannin. Complex and could withstand a few more years in the bottle, but dont let that stop you from enjoying this one now.

Powerfully compacted earth, graphite and intense blackberry, black cherry and blueberry pie fruit. Palate is super sleek, has the lines of a jet black Ferrari. Sumptuous and perfectly balanced fruit, soft tannins, a warm, soft, suede classy hug of a wine.

Big nose of vanilla baking spice and tobacco. Rich ripe tannin. Crushed red fruits blueberry but not flabby. Modern style but totally ribera. Real winner with the price

A great wine that became much rounder and elegant than few years back but still quite powerful modern Ribera style, a big Tempranillo marked by oak that still need time to get smoother, better to open ahead and let breath - Mariano Garcia developed his winemaking reputation at Vega Sicilia before joining Aalto in partnership with Javier Zaccagnini.

Definitely a more modern style Ribera del Duero, but really beautiful once it opened up. No decanter, so 3 hours in it was offering up cigar box and vanilla spices. Big tannins!

Oh Tempranillo. With your big but somehow delicate and brooding flavors, massive nose and long finish. How I love you so. Don't ever change.

Lovely wine, great balance, Needs years, Oak is not integrated yet.
