Solid wine with fairly obvious flavors and aromas. Cinsault actually seems more dominant in the blend, adding a floral dimension to this wine. Shiraz component actually seems rather shy.

No one can tell me I’ve given up completely on South African reds, I’ll keep trying them. But this still doesn’t hit it right for me. Supposedly dominated by Shiraz, this red blend seems pumped full of ripened red fruits. Muddled though, and missing some needed structure. I think the balance of the blend is off. Meh.

But I’ll keep trying more South African reds.

Really nice, the violet flavors surprised me. Lighter feeling than the deep color at first suggests. I enjoyed it chilled.

Acetone, plastic, petroleum.
No wait, that’s the new paint of the living room..

Açai jammed nose.
Leathery fruit, fruit leather, easy spicy tannins, the fruit sits on the tongue heavily, to be whisked away by the tannin back end. Tongue/mouth Puckering. A wine for the working class.
