Birthday wine 2: Layers and layers of intriguing aromas and flavors. First impression was strong oil of rose and other floral notes. Tight structure right out of the bottle. But the fruit really came on strong after a 20 minute decant. Another beautiful and elegant wine from Angela Osbourne. This one has more guts than the Santa Barbara Highlands though!

Completely different wine than when we opened it yesterday. Settled down and now pretty and graceful.

Sweet red fruits intermingling with savory herbal leaves, vanilla and toffee. Silky texture, coats mouth so gently with concentration and purity.

Angela's tribute to her Grandmother, wonderful fruit stands up to my grilled peppers and paella!

Totally my cup of tea with the expansive concentration, candied fruits and spicy earth.

Wishing for more aromatic intensity and richer mid-palate/finish.

Plums, prunes and raisins - gentle fruit light - medium finish and tannins
