Picture a world colored almost purely in white. White flowers, white sand, white fruit, white chalk. Razor like cut on the palate, bone-dry almost talcum powdery texture and searing acidity. Electric effervescence. Simply a food companion sent from heaven. Chardonnay at its most intense and precise.

Absolutely delicious. Spot on example of why I love Chardonnay dominant fizz. Lean and lemony initially but expands beautifully on the palate showing depth, complexity and length. Boom!

July 2011 disgorgement, showing quite a lot of development, perhaps prematurely. However it's delicious right now.

Beautiful, and a beautiful way to celebrate the last bit of fruit brought in off the vineyard for the 2014 vintage.
