Dark but clear red purple. Fruity nose and palate of black cranberry and dried fig. Firm tannins and bright acidity (medium plus, both) fight for dominance taking attention away from what should be voluptuous fruit preventing ‘‘tis from even approaching the “sipper” label. Food tames them both however, and it plays the accompaniment role well. So now we know its place.

Tart and quick finish. Not very full. The kinda wine you serve to drunk people.

After tasting a delicious Zinfadel wine, I saw this one's rating and went for the cheap A-Mano 2012. It was okay because I like primitivo wines but it does not compare to the class or depth of other (more expensive) primitivo wines. It's definitely ok for its price but don't go for it thinking it will actually be a full, tasteful wine. Its taste is gone in a second and is not full enough (a bit lean).

This starts so promisingly, but then devolves into nothing. A little spice, a little peachy, a little tannin. Definitely not bad, more more of a table wine.

Tart and fruity. Quick finish. Easy drinking and complemented pizza well. Little to no tannins.
