Pale to mid Lemon in colour. Notes of old mandarin and tropical fruit nuances - later yellow peach with medium minus acid. No doubt a top quality GG Riesling from Pfalz but a little better a couple of years ago. Unlike Australian dry Riesling I find it better to drink these German dry Riesling earlier for the freshness. JR’s drinking window was 2011 to 2015.

Just a fantastic wine, tested alongside their simpler riesling. A great experience reminiscent of the outstanding G. Breuer I had last year. Enormous complexity, balanced, youthful: would like to try in 2025.
