This five-year-old Napa Cabernet is drinking very nicely now, with a nice mouth feel.

Dry on the palate with medium acidity.

Showing black and blue fruits with oak, light earth, green vegetables, spices, bitter herbs, tobacco, dark chocolates and peppercorn.

Spicy finish with fine grained tannins.

Nicely balanced and fruit-forward. Spicy with mild complexity.

Nice to see a moderate alcohol Cabernet from Napa.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after 30 minutes of airtime. Gets earthier as it opens up.

A good wine to pair with food. I paired it with Brie cheese.

95% Cabernet Sauvignon with some Petite Sirah.

Fruit forward with medium acidity.

Fruity on the palate with nice finish and fine grained tannins. Spicy and interesting.

Still young and would need a few years in the bottle to mature properly, but already enjoyable even by itself.

Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black cherries, wood, spices, light vanilla, tobacco, light vegetables, dark chocolates, light earth and peppercorn.

Medium plus in finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a tasty, but young Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Fruit forward and easy drinking.

Smooth and elegant. Spicy and entertaining. Good right out of the bottle, and better with some airtime.

Would be nice to revisit it in 3 years. Has the potential to be a 93+ point wine in 5 years.

Good by itself as a sipping wine. A good porch wine too. Already Very approachable, tangy and interesting.

A nice collaboration with Robert Mondavi Jr. A blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Petite Sirah and 1% Petite Verdot. Aged for 18 months in French oak (60% new).

I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.

Dark ruby in color with a pretty reddish rim.

On the nose cherries, blueberries, wild flowers, spices, light oak, licorice and black pepper.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with cherries, strawberries, blueberries, plums, light toasted oak, spices, earth, light herbs, tobacco leaf and peppercorn.

Tangy long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries.

This is a very nice Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley made by Rob Mondavi Jr.

Easy drinking and tasty, with mild complexity and a nice mouthfeel.

Needs 3 hours to open up properly, so take your time. It wasn't that pretty right out of the bottle.

Not the typical big and bold with black fruits Napa Cabernet, but rather something a little bit different, which is nice to see too.

Still young and needs 3 to 7 years in the bottle to mature properly, but has good potential.

Wine Enthusiasts 90 points.

Some what Fruit forward, 20 months new French oak, Mondavi property near Rutherford in Napa.

Blueberries, dark cherries, mellow, round body, dash of chocolate and white pepper.

Pretty decent Cab all the way around. We were told it goes for $77 a bottle which seems rather steep. Would be happy to pay that price in a restaurant. I see it is only $100 a bottle at the Elway's steakhouse at Cherry Creek in Denver. I'd order a bottle with a steak.
