4 Monos started by 4 friends from Sierra de Gredos who share a passion for winemaking and hiking. GR-10 named after a scenic hiking trail that passes through a few the vineyards. Blend of Garnacha, Cariñena, Morenillo and Syrah with 50% whole cluster fermentation, pale Ruby with aromas of red fruits, spice and floral notes. On the palate flavors of ripe cherry and strawberry with some earthy tobacco notes. Fine tannins, medium finish ending with fruit and pronounced earthy character.

Almost closer to a Pinot noir than a Grenache except for the high abv. Cherry. Bit of raspberry zip. Lingers for quite a while. Medium plus acidity and a chalky backbone. Finishes with a faint tobacco note.
