Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc
Solid wine; grassy dandelion kick but not overpowering- just on the edge.

Feb 23rd, 2017Pale lemon in color with a green tint, and almost see through.
On the nose grapefruits, lemons, tropical fruits, limes, Citrus, Light peach, white pepper grass, metals and white flowers. Very nice nose.
Light to medium bodied with great legs and high acidity.
Dry on the palate with limes, grapefruits, citrus, light mango, kiwi, green apples, minerals, salt and white pepper.
What a nice Sauvignon Blanc this is. Not typical for the region yet very enjoyable by itself or with seafood.
When it is not very chilled, some diesel and gooseberry notes come up.
Nice, balanced and not bitter. Very pleasurable.
The label is cool too, when the bottle gets to 13 degrees, which is the optimal temperature to drink it, the label changes its color to Blue. What a cool idea.
12.5% alcohol by volume.

I'm not as crazy about this as some, and I think it's because it's less sweet, and might even go better with food because of that.
