Kind of sticky... and icky. If you have too much it might permanently damage your taste buds. Lots and lots and lots of vanilla, over ripened black fruit, and very sweet. Cloying, almost. It’s thick and high alcohol.

Big fruit forward Zinfandel aged in Bourbon barrels after fermentation and then placed back in regular oak barrels before bottling. Very neat bourbon finish that's hot in the mouth with of but of caramel. More of an "experience" wine than anything else but good nonetheless. #zinfandel #bourbonbarrelaged

V13. Really good, and different . Upon pulling the cork, the toasty and caramel notes of a bourbon bottle came through, unfortunately they fade within an hour. Wine is big, dark blackberry with a peppery finish. It's almost like a dry port. Good TV watching wine, really liked it.

Sort of dumb. Sorry, but I love Zin and it's sort of a gimick to throw it in bourbon barrels. I rather just have a wine that is made well. Saying that, it doesn't taste bad, but there is better zin for the same price. Full, bitter finish.

A bold Zinfandel from California. Showing black fruits with chocolates caramel and spices.
Full bodied and fruit forward with some residual sugar.
Good right out of the bottle and good by itself. A good party wine too.
A little hot at the back of the throat.
15.5% alcohol by volume.

Dark color. Robust aroma. Jams of cherries and strawberries. Flavors a rich and full. Definite sweeter, fruit bomber style. Plums/prunes. A bit much, but for the old vine Sin style it’s fine.

Smells like dry wood, Smokey, deep dark purple from center to the rim. The legs on the glass stretch forever. Should have had this without tasting a Bordeaux for a true test. Comes across as tart, Berry’s and jam.
