Like with the 2010, I tasted the #vik 2011 daily from different bottles over 10 days. This wine has a very firm structure with great balance and restraint on the abv. The fruit is tightly wound and deep. This wine has great complexity and will age very well. A great wine. #millahue #chile — 8 years ago

I tasted this wine daily for about 10 days, each time from a different bottle. I was quite impressed with the concentration and complexity coming from such young vines. This wine is best after about 1 hr in the decanter showing subtle and smooth tannins with medium acid and restrained alcohol. The black, red, and blue fruits were ripe and delicious. This wine is coming into it's peak but does not have the structure to live a very long life. #vik #chile — 8 years ago
