#magnummonday at NOPA thanks lulu! From a magnum. Second pour from newly opened bottle was more vibrant. — 10 years ago
A #magnummonday find at Nopa, this showed an awesomely expressive nose of crunchy red and dark berries and fresh flowers but also tons of delicious savoriness--black pepper, cinnamon, and savory potpourri. The palate was fresh with lots of fine tannins and plenty of lift to bring it all together. With food an awesome cranberry jam note emerged. Southern Rhone blend roughly equal parts Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Counoise. — 9 years ago

Haven't tasted this 2010 in months, and not out of magnum for at least a year. Black olive & velvet, sage & stony--- getting really interesting! #magnummonday — 9 years ago

This was full of super fresh cherry nectar, crunchy fruits of the forest, gamey notes like lamb prosciutto (does such a thing exist?), and eventually showed some super fresh petrichor notes. Classic structure of a light body supported by bright refreshing acid and just enough tannins. Great #magnummonday find at nopa, and @Rajiv Ayyangar and I blinded it as fleurie! — 9 years ago
