Composite corks suck. I either notice a low level of TCA on every single one or I notice oxidation in the wine. This wine was tired likely due to the composite cork. The fruit wasn't as vibrant as it should be and note it's only a 2010. It's also kinda pricey. You'd think a $40 bottle might splurge on a nice cork or heck just put it in Stelvin.
