Deep maroon with a brown rim. Heavy nose of dark chocolate cherry chocolate centers. Licorice and leather. Full bodied. Long legs. All of the above show on the palate but licorice speaks just a but louder. A small amount of smoke too. Slight to medium tannin. Sat in the decanter for 2 hours while we dealt with the terrorists. 14%alc helps deal with toddler bedtime stress.
