Great stuff, as always. Delicate, feminine but muscular, still carries a great deal of elegance and finesse. Peach, brioche, caramel, pear — classical and classy. I probably killed a couple of these bottles during the flight. :) Age this for 8-10 and then it will shine. #airfrance #lapremiere — 9 years ago

Powerful petrol and tropical fruit on the nose topped with orange peel and japanese pear. Delicious layered palate of childishly playful acidity, citrus notes, deep minerality and fantastic mouthwatering finish. Wine of the flight with great potential to age. #airfrance #lapremiere — 9 years ago
Apricot, honey, peach, overripe pear, raisins — it's pretty good, definitely nowhere close to d'Yquem or even Barsac, but still pretty good. Lacks confidence and focus. #airfrance #lapremiere — 9 years ago
Decent, but not Vaudesir worthy. Sharp, spiky nose — lime zest, steel, bitter grass, just a shadow of honeysuckle. Palate is lean, angular and racy with rough, rugged acidity. #airfrance #lapremiere — 9 years ago
Deep dark meaty color. Wonderful nose of late red flowers, washington cherry, smoke, spice and a touch of crushed anise. Tannins are ruling the palate and for me, a non-Bordeaux drinker, it was a bit of a throw-off. After 30 minutes opened up with more earthiness — dry tree bark, sage, a bit gamey fruit and still endless tannins. #airfrance #lapremiere — 9 years ago
I love Rene Bouvier and consider this producer the best kept secret at least in the US. This is no exception — ripe cherry, dark plum, a bit of smoke. Silky smooth on the palate, tannins are behaving nice, overall everything is in its place, good balance. #airfrance #lapremiere — 9 years ago

Great at first but shut down after 5-7 minutes. Classic golden nectar with honey and caramel and exotic fruit and more honey, but it all went to some sad burnt space with air time — bitter and wax-y honeycomb, charcoal and even dark chocolate. #airfrance #lapremiere — 9 years ago
