Great stuff, as always. Delicate, feminine but muscular, still carries a great deal of elegance and finesse. Peach, brioche, caramel, pear — classical and classy. Deep dark meaty color. Wonderful nose of late red flowers, washington cherry, smoke, spice and a touch of crushed anise. Tannins are ruling the palate and for me, a non-Bordeaux drinker, it was a bit of a throw-off. I love Rene Bouvier and consider this producer the best kept secret at least in the US. This is no exception — ripe cherry, dark plum, a bit of smoke. Silky smooth on the palate, tannins are behaving nice, overall everything is in its place, good balance. #airfrance #lapremiere — 9 years ago
