A perfumed nose of ripe strawberries, dark plums, rose petal, a little cigar smoke and graphite, I haven’t had this since our honeymoon! @Tiva Feltman picked up red meat and pepper as well. Medium bodied with a deep ruby hue, the palate itself is light, but not under-flavored. At 2019 it’s still fresh, with a nicely blended acidity, a hint of some tannin but mostly released, with a peppery tang, and a beautiful blend of both floral and fruit.
