2019 vintage. Medium heavy bod. Tar, earth, dark cherry in the nose. High acidity/tannins painfully evident and only tackling this because some greedy human insisted. Visited easily 15 years too early. Mostly structural currently while the dark fruit tumblers slowly click into place. 10.30.24

Young but already so drinkable. Raspberries and strawberries with massive tannins that will no dount evolve beautifully. Vietti just dont make bad wines...goes against their DNA!

Enjoyed this on New Year’s Eve with Jen, Jim and Janet. Great bottle, great company! Cheeses, salumi, bread…deep ripe fruit, not heavy…nice age. Perfect for this time of year! Excellent barolo!
