There’s never a wrong time to open 2017 white burg and this special bottling, from the choicest parcel in Morgeot is showing beautifully, with attractive PYCM matchstick reduction giving way to layers of deep and defined yellow orchard fruit, white flowers, spices and crushed stones. The palate shows such verve and finesse, balancing richness and elegance and a silky texture. PYCM always hits for me.
