Bright and energetic, with gorgeous bright Cherries and some green olives on the finish and texture. A beautiful wine.

Willamette valley Pinot is top notch. Very mild and light bodied wine with nice notes of raspberry and dark cherry. Dry wine but very fruity and bright.

Bright red cherries, bits of earth. Pines in the breeze on the nose. Great wine with just enough of everything needed to be even more elegant and intriguing in a few more years from now. Thank god Jim Maresh's wines are not too well known around here...more for me.

I can't recall the reasoning, but this was labelled as "Oregon pinot noir" and I'm almost certain it's estate. The 13 was beautiful and vervey, very alive and energetic. It tasted well against a 12 that was $20 more a bottle, IMO.

Very nice, restrained alcohol and enticing perfumed notes of red cherry, cranberry skin and fresh, damp herbs on the nose. After 2 hour passive decant, balanced tart red fruits with roundness coming from an herb-y very lightly smoky profile. This thing is just getting better as it gets air. Surprisingly great QPR given I had heard Jim picked these before the 2013 rains, which most have indicated was a mistake for lower elevations - really wish I had bought more while in Oregon!

Its great. I have to confess we snuck it into a burger joint and drank it out of red solo cups, so take that into account.
