Blend of 50% Cab Sauv, 35% Merlot, 10% Cab Franc & 5% Petit Verdot, Deep Ruby with aromas of berry fruit aromas & herb notes. On the palate black raspberry & blackberry, currant-like, with tobacco, cacao and smoky oak notes. Fine polished tannins, long finish ending with fruit and earthy mineral tones, just starting to drink well but will last for the next decade+. Tasting Sample!

Nice balanced flavorful Bordeaux. Dark fruit with earthy mineral notes. Missing a lingering grippy finish.

5 hours decanting, still lots of fruitiness. Still young. But good potential, concentration. More than previous vintage. 2018 @, 231215

2018 vintage. Velveteen nose. Lean, plummy intro. Jammy mid-palate. Fairly dry (for this producer) herbal, dark chocolate notes with a ripping, tannic finish. Medium-heavy body altho thinking 7-8 years will dial this back to medium body. Last tasted 9.13.21. Same score. 4.28.23.

Black cherry, black plum, cedar, tobacco and pencil shavings on the nose. Fine, velvety tannins support subtle black fruits and wet stone. A very nice bottle shared with family during Christmas dinner.

2018 vintage. That big-boned, Malescot body with plushy fruit. A dollop of astringency on the back end. Love me don’t hate me tannins. Meh nose. This juice has nowhere to go but up. Über-drinkable now but not performing in certain categories currently. Wouldn’t hurt to revisit in a year or two.
