Lots of fruit in this wine (raspberries and cranberries) with a nice acidity and a medium tannic base however there is also a fairly pronounced taste of banana that personally I try to avoid in the gamay (I know I am looking for trouble but there are producers who do not have this taste in their wines). So not very impressed but if the banana taste does not bother you it is well done as a wine.

A gorgeous expression of Gamay. The challenge will be to let it gain some maturity in the cellar, because drinking it now is so damn pleasing. This is a serious Cru Beau with a terrific taste evolution before it. Stock up!
