Raspberry fruit with cinnamon spice, and hints of orange and graphite. Bracing acidity, bordering on tartness. Less fruit forward and more Burgundian in style than 2015 vintage, which was more fruit driven.

Fruit was not as dominant as prior vintages and body was extremely light. Wine was a bit weak and watery. My disappointment is most likely due to my high expectations of this producer.
