Multiple tastings of this vintage previously posted, so it appears I like it very much.

Mar 13th, 2020Pale golden color, excellent clarity. Honeysuckle note in nose. Spice, tart litchi, and pineapple flavors with a hint of apricot, mango and kumquat. Citric-malic finish with spicy barrel wood, almost brassy or alt-beer like in its acid and flavor character. Some skin astringency. Slightly bitter lactic aftertaste. Good crispness, lower alcohol but flavorful. I’m not sure about the balance in the flavor profile here, but it is Alsatian in style, subtle in its fruit expression and blessedly dry.
