Crushed blueberry, cranberry and a deep floral notes of azaleas greets you on the nose. Color is like a deep ruby, with slight purple hints. The flavor is unexpected, medium bodied, somewhat tannic, salty somewhat, with flavors of cranberry, black tea with flavors of ripe plums on the finish.

This is a very good Pinot Noir, but quite expensive for its quality. It is elegant, but quite acidic. There is no question that this is an impressive Pinot Noir, and better than most American versions. Good cherry start, but quite restrained, followed by an overly acidic finish.
