straw colored core, watery rim; lemon, wet stone, oyster shell, minimal new oak; light bodied, good acidity, 13.8% ABV; sourced from multiple sites including Charles Ranch, El Diablo, Heintz, Keefer Ranch, Laguna Valdez, Ritchie, Rued, Zio Tony; fermented 12% in foudre, 6% in concrete, and the rest in barrique with 26% aged in new French oak for 14 months with the remainder in stainless steel, concrete, and foudre; thin in mouth and mediocre for $65

Love the deep yellow color..think its going to be buttery and oak but very well balanced..great body to it also

Excellent. Tart with enough fruit and complexity to make this more Burgundian than Californian in inspiration.

Something went awry with the 2016s. This is a pig with lipstick. Like a sub $10 bottle in a KB label. Thoroughly disappointing.
