Dark forest cherries

Second night with this lovely wine - full of black fruits and leather with a oaky undertone. Much better after decanting given its age.

Wow. Wow. Wow. Strong start, long finish. Full bodied. Acidic, robust tannins.

Dark ruby coloration. On the nose, plum, cherry, blackberry, cocoa powder, spice- like cumin, smoke and forest floor. On the palate, initial flavors of spice, forest floor, florals and cocoa powder. Secondary flavors are fruitier, with blueberry, plum, cherry, vanilla and toasted oak. Long finish with vanilla, florals and berry. Elegant, complex, rich, full bodied and outstanding.
