Saturday night I opened the 2018 Cliff Lede Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc. I over chilled the wine so I waited until it came back to a more reasonable temperature. Over chilling muted the aromatics. Once it was at the appropriate temperature the aromas came back very nice.

On the nose there were notes of white peach, Asian pear, bell pepper, jalapeño, tarragon, ginger, lemongrass, herbs and wet concrete.

On the palate the is grapefruit, lemon/lime, white peach, white flower, herbs and nice minerality.

This wine is light to medium bodied and the is a smooth oily mouthfeel with a medium + to high acidity that leads into a long citrus finish. Happy Fathers Day to all the Fathers out there. Have a great day, stay safe and be healthy. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂

Light flora and pear on the nose Flavor was pretty tight with mild pear, Pleasant acid, easy sipping. Not real distinct flavors. (Broiled sockeye salmon with garlic/butter, saluted asparagus and mushrooms)
