Terroir de la Chapelle Chablis Chardonnay
Needed some time and warming to open up but was very nice.

Apr 7th, 2020Perhaps not the raciest or most pure of the range. But still awfully damn good, and I’m always honored and privileged to have these wines in my glass. *After day 3* : Just keeps getting better. Tremendously fresh with persistent mineral tension. It’s not fair to label this “great-for-entry-level” wine. It is quite lovely on its own merits.

Has a creaminess I was not initially expecting but once my palate was coated I was able to get into some of the tighter acids and mineral textures. Flint and slate in addition to some tropical fruits. Nice saltiness as well.
Paired well with salmon and some orzo. Went well with the cheese board too.
