I’m having a hard time placing this. Black fruit, and some savory notes, but also has some Cab Franc-like bell pepper. Somewhat rough around the edges and a very short finish, that disappears after just a few seconds.

A mini Jamet like Cote Rote & great QPR that needed some air to open showing dark berry, cherry fruit, black olive, pepper, meat & licorice.

Has that seriousness packed against lush fruit and density and typicity of most decent quality northern Rhône. It really just lacks depth of character compared to what’s being put forth in this category these days.

Classic northern Rhône aromatics and mouth feel.

Surprisingly light on the palate, shows lots of Berry fruit, black olive, and slight animal quality to it. More precise and elegant than Faury's Rhodaniennes. Great value, can't wait to taste the Cote Rotie
