Prince of Hearts Cabernet Sauvignon Blend

Blend of 63% Cab Sauv & 28% Merlot with rest Cab Franc and Petit Verdot, deep Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruits, herbs and licorice. On the palate black cherry, raspberry and blackberry flavors with espresso, mocha and earthy notes. Well balanced, medium acidity, fine ripe tannins long finish ending with fruit, cedar and toasty spice! Nice!

Really good. Maybe unfair to rate right on opening.

Dark cherries, blackberries, black raspberries, ripe strawberries, dark cranberries, soft volcanic sandy minerals, soft wood use, red roses, nice acid and ripe to dry elegant finish. 80% Cabernet, 11% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot.

This was quite a treat after drinking mostly “under $20” wines for the past several months. I have more of this but wish I had MORE of this wonderful wine.

2014 Prince of Hearts Cab. Light bodied with a clear hue. It drinks like a heavy Pinot or a light Cab. Delicious fruit with the right mineral balance. 👍🏼😊

Red-fruited and fairly soft. Middle-weight in all the good ways for a guy who likes his Cali on the more elegant side. Not a long ager maybe.

This has put on weight since my last bottle. Smooth on the palate with red and dark fruits.

Drank this over 3 days and by the last night it was just starting to unwind a little bit. Will hold rest for a bit before checking back in.
