On the nose and the palate, you can see where this is going to evolve.
A beauty to behold. The nose displays graphite, iron and a blackberry compote. Palate is consistent with perfect weight and balance. Moderate acidity enables this to tilt towards a Bdx, rather than Napa. Extremely well done. A baby that needs more time in the bottle. Drinking with close friends. Does not get better…

Phenomenal. Oldest vines at Diamond Creek and it showed. Incredible complexity, with great acidity. This one has a long life ahead of it. I hope I can resist for the next 30 years....

While still an elegant and expressive wine, this one came in third in the trifecta. As you can see by the soil, this old riverbed vineyard has a draining characteristic that keeps the vines in search of water. Tight and highly structured, this one needs more time than the others to reach its peak.
