Combe Ballard Canyon Trousseau

Fresh and fruity with bright acidity. California trousseau showing it can hang with the big grapes.

Delicate, lots of carbonic fruit and a bit of pepper.

This was too tight and wound up on day one, but day two was another story. Cranberries, and slightly underripe strawberries with evident tannins. On the nose, I got a touch of watermelon Jolly Rancher. Cloudy bright red appearance in the glass. Really enjoyed this. Nice summer red served slightly chilled.

Taste like a delicious Sancerre, except this one is red.

Smells so floral and perfumed. Maybe raspberry strawberry apple and violet. "Kimchi blueberry" says my dinner companion

Day 1 had a little funk up front that seemed to dissipate by day 2. Super tart red fruit, big acidity and decent grip. Quite tasty but needs some food.
